Richard Peacock is President and majority owner of WJP Partnership, Ltd., the owner of Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine, having been one of the original seven partners that opened the restaurant in 1997.  He's also partner in Vela Wine Bar at Paloma Blanca, a uniqure wine bar and restaurant located across the patio from Paloma Blanca.

While he ultimately is responsible for overall restaurant operations, Richard's other focus is in the commercial real estate industry as a broker and developer/investor. He works with his father at Richard M. Peacock & Co., a commercial real estate brokerage firm started by Joe A. Peacock, his grandfather, in 1950 that has historically specialized in the brokerage of income properties.  He is currently on board of both the Alamo Heights School Foundation and the Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation, and is past Chairman of the Terrell Hills Planning and Zoning Commission.  Richard and his wife Brooke are both active in their church, he as director of the Jr. High Sunday School program.  They have identical twin boys born in 2006.

Richard graduated from MacArthur High School in 1984, and earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree, while majoring in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics, from Southern Methodist University in 1988.
